03Seva in action
Every performance feeds two kinds of hunger.
Seva means service from the heart. This commitment shapes the financial structure of everything we create.
Both go directly to Food Yoga International — by its own account the world's largest volunteer-run food-relief network — which serves more than a million plant-based meals a day through volunteers in 65 countries, and has served over 8 billion meals since 1974. We're also developing a longer-term partnership to route streaming royalties from Gandharva-Veda's original score, from 2027 onward, directly to their relief work.

A one-time donation to Food Yoga International is valuable in itself. What Gandharva-Veda adds is momentum: every future performance generates new donations, for as long as we keep dancing.

05Our why
The turning point
COVID brought our work, our scheduled tour, and our funding to a halt. It forced a long silence. During that time, our founder, Vraja Sundari, entered a period of retreat and deep recalibration — including a year-long pilgrimage to ask what art could still offer a changed world.
